IU Convention Photos

These are the various photos that were taken during the IU Convention. During our session, we learned about the atrocities that were occuring at the SHED Aquarium. The employees there had banded together and created their very first worker's union!! Problem was their employer was refusing to meet them at the table to bargain for their rights!!! We showed up as a sea of green and made our thoughts on it known. It was even on the news!! Could you image thousands of people in the same color with the same message??!! That is AFSMCE strong!

Once a session is done, the members are free to learn about each other and the rich history of the city and it's people. Thank you Chicago for hosting this year!

You see those pins? Those are incentives for members to get out there and meet each other. Share stories and learn about other Unions from across our beautiful Nation!
